I took Connor and Rowan up to see the big hemlock on a chilly last day of the year. They were able to climb up inside of it. After they had done so, I did and decided to see if I could see the top of the hollowed out part. Although it seemed like I could see quite a ways up, my light was not bright enough, nor was the camera flash enough to illuminate all the way. After visiting the big tree, we went over to the waterfall nearby before heading home (they were getting ready to be done by then).
