Connor, Rowan, Jonathan and I watched a slug eat on this Red Alder (Alnus rubra) for a bit before it moved on.
Fertile frond of a Deer Fern (Blechnum spicant) uncoiling from its fiddlehead.
Jonathan pointed this fungus out by mentioning that it looked like toasted marshmallows.
I don't think this fungus is mature yet, so it will be interesting to see what happens with it.
