A Wild Life

Today dad, Connor and I went up to thimbleberry lake. When We were up there, I looked for some toads. After I found a toad Connor came over and took some photos of the toad and I did too. After Connor and I took some photos of the toad, I went and looked for some more. I found at least five toads most of them were about the same size but one of them was bigger than the others. After a while dad came over and took some photos of the toads and then we left because Connor and I had to do our paper rout.

Today when I went to the park, it was cloudy. When I was on the breakwater, I saw some salmon jumping. When I was in the park, I saw a squirrel running in the tree branches. When I was at the battle site bench, I saw some seagulls out over the water. When I was by the trail by the river I heard a squirrel. When I was on the trail by the river, I saw three belted kingfishers fly over the river, and I heard them too. When I was on my way back home, I saw some ravens and an eagle.

Today when I went to the park it was partly cloudy and windy. When I was by sage beach, I saw some people Kayaking out on the water. When I was in the park, I heard some chickadees and kinglets in the trees. When I was by the battle site bench, I saw and heard some kinglets. When I was at the battle site bench, it was low tide, and I saw some seagulls out by the water. When I was on the trail by the river I saw and heard some kinglets. When I was on my way back home, I saw some adult and juvenile juncos.

Today when I went to the park it was raining. When I was out on the breakwater, I saw some people fishing for salmon on the breakwater and in a boat. When I was in the park I saw some brown creepers on the trees. When I was at the battle site bench, I saw some seagulls out over the water. When I was by the trail by the river I saw some ravens. When I was on the trail by the river, I heard some ravens in the trees. When I was on my way back home, I saw an eagle fly over the trees.

Today when I went to the park, it was cloudy. When I was on the breakwater, I saw some salmon jumping. When I was in the park I heard some kinglets. When I was by the battle site bench, I saw a squirrel. When I was at the battle site bench, it was low tide, and I saw some seagulls out by the water. When I was by the trail by the river, I saw some ravens out on the beach and an eagle in a tree. When I was on the trail by the river, I saw some ravens on the other side of the river, and I saw some winter wrens in the forest. When I was on my way back home I saw some hummingbirds and some juncos.

Today when Connor, dad and I went up to the first viewpoint on verstovia, Dad let Connor and me get a head start. After a couple of minutes Connor left me in the dust. Not to much farther up the trail dad caught up to me and we walked together for a bit before we saw a toad hopping a cross the trail. Dad took some photos of the toad when I was holding it, then he took some more photos of the toad after I set it on the ground and went ahead of him. I let dad go past me when we were closer to the viewpoint. When I got to the viewpoint dad gave Connor and me some chocolate and when we were done eating the chocolate he took some photos of us looking through the mist at what little we could see of the town. On our way back down the trail Dad and me showed Connor where we saw the toad on the way up.

Today when I went down to the park, it was cloudy and raining. When I was on the breakwater, I saw some one fishing for salmon, and I saw some salmon. When I was at the battle site bench, it was low tide, and I saw some ravens out on the beach. When I was by the trail by the river, I saw some more ravens out on the beach. When I was on the trail by the river, I heard and saw two eagles that were flying over the river. When I was by the foot bridge, I saw some salmon in the river.

Today When I went down to the park, it was cloudy. When I was by sage beach, I saw an eagle and raven in the same tree. When I was by the battle site bench, it was low tide, and I saw some sea gulls flying over the beach. When I was by the trail by the river, I saw some ravens out on the beach, and I saw someone swimming out in the water. When I was on the trail by the river, I saw some salmon rising in the river, and I saw a juvenile winter wren in the bushes by the river.

Today when I went down to the park it was cloudy and vary rainy. When I was out on the breakwater, I saw some salmon, and I saw some people fishing on sage rock. When I was at the battle site bench, it was low tide, and I saw some seagulls out by the water. When I was by the trail by the river, I saw and heard some ravens. When I was on the trail by the river, I heard a squirrel. When I was on my way back home, I saw some ravens and eagles fly over head.

Today when I was at the park it was cloudy. When I was on the breakwater, I saw some salmon jump. When I was by sage beach, I saw and heard a raven in a tree. When I was at the battle site bench, it was low tide and I saw saw some ravens and seagulls out by the water. When I was on the trail by the river, I saw Connor and we walked together for a bit before I went on a different trail. When I was walking with Connor on the trail by the river, I saw a small fish jump in the river. When I was on my way back home, it was raining a little bit.
