This morning after I had eaten some breakfast I went down to the park.
It was nice and sunny on my way to the park. There was still some snow on the ground, and it was a bit cool out, but other then that it was a nice morning.
I walked down a street, and across a road, and onto a sidewalk. I walked down the sidewalk by the harbor, and out on to the breakwater, and back again. I walked down by th beach, and looked at some of the things on the rock, and logs just above the high tide zone.
Once I had made it to the park I walked all the way to the shore line to see what was down there. The tide was out while I was down there, but I did not see very many shore birds down there. There was a bit of wind down there, but nothing bad.
I walked all the way out to the end of the park. I saw a flock of gulls, and I tooked through them, but did not see any unusual gulls in there. There were some black oystercatchers out at the very end of the park, but that was I saw in the way of shore birds. I walked up the beach to the trail, and in to the woods.
I walked to the river, and up to the estuary to see if there were any ducks in the river. I did not see any ducks or any other bird for that mater in the estuary, so I walked on home.
After I ate lunch I went up by gavan hill, and looked around. It was nice and sunny when I did this, so that made a nice afternoon for me. I found a few things then I went to the lake.
Once I got to the lake I looked around the lake, but the only birds I saw at the lake were mallards. I did not see one gull there nor did I see the wood duck or any other duck for that matter, so I walked home.
- Question were was the wood duck?
- Question is the wood duck still around?
- Question will it come back to the lake if it is still around?
