park

Today when I went down to the park in the morning, it had rained a little bit so most of the snow had turned to slush.
I did my best to keep my feet dry, as I was wearing shoes like I normally do, but they got a little bit wet anyways.
The side walks where it had been plowed and in the forest where it didn’t get that much snow because of the branches, were the places were there was less slush.
When I was by the science center, I looked up at the Sheldon Jackson campus, where just a little before I had seen some people sledding. Up there it looked like a few people were making a large snowball.
It started to snow briefly before I got into the forest, but it was done before I got there.
On the trail by the river, there were two swans, a bunch of sleeping mallards and a male Green Winged Teal on the other side of the river. The swans were on the water, while the mallards and teal were on the grass by the edge of the water.
When I was by the campus on my way back, I didn’t see anyone up there like I had on my way to the park.
