Park

It has been pretty warm this week. But today when I went down to the park, it was a bit colder and it was raining and the wind also made it seem colder.
When I was out on the break water, I saw some mergansers on the water on the harbor side. I also saw a couple mergansers, a few sea gulls and a kingfisher on the science center side of the park.
As I was walking past where sage rock was, I heard a great blue heron up in the trees across the road somewhere. I looked a little bit for it, but I wasn’t able to see it.
As I was walking through the park, probably about halfway to the battle side bench, I heard something that sort of reminded of a loon, but when I looked all I saw was an eagle flying by.
When I was out at the battle site bench, I saw some sea gulls and crows. The crows were flying up and dropping things on the ground out by the water, I figured what they were dropping were shells of some sort.
When I was on the trail near the trail by the river, I saw a few more sea gulls and crows. I was also more windy there.
When I was at the the trail by the river, I saw some ducks and mergansers on the water. I also saw a few wigeons and they few off as I walked by, then they few around and landed farther up the river.
As I was on my way back home, I saw a few harlequins out on the water.
Why was it more windy on that small side trail?
Why did the wigeons fly around?
Why was the great blue heron in the trees?
