Park

Today when I went down to the park for the second time, it was cloudy, but not all that cold.
When I was near the breakwater, I saw the loon that’s been there for awhile again, it was fairly close to the rocks on the harbor side.
When I was out on the breakwater, I saw some sea gulls.
When I was nearing the entrance of the park, I saw about twelve moths on the visitor center’s wall under a light.
When I was out at the battle side bench, I saw some more sea gulls and it was high tide.
When I was on the trail by the river, I saw two eagles fighting over what was probably a few scraps of fish, and one was hanging upside down while the other was on the top of the branch. Before I could get some photos, the one hanging upside down flew off and shortly after, so did the other one. There were also a bunch of crows and about seven other eagles in the trees near where the two eagles were.
I also saw a few swans, ducks and mergansers on the other side of the river.
Why was the one eagle hanging upside down?
Why were there so many moths?
Why were the crows there?
