Today when I went down to the park for the first time, it was wet and a bit cold and some slush was still on the ground.
When I was out on the breakwater, I saw a kingfisher and the common loon again. I got some photos of both of them. I also heard some shorebirds but I couldn’t see where they were.
When I was out at the battle site bench, it was high tide and I saw some harlequins out on the water.
When I was on the trail by the river, I saw a few common mergansers and ducks on the other side of the river. I also saw a seal out in the water by the grass, it stuck around for all the time I was watching it and was still there when I left.
When I was on my way back home going by sage beach, I saw some black Turnstones on a few of the smaller rocks by sage rock and I figured that they were the same ones I’d heard before.
Why is the loon still in the harbor?
Why was the seal hanging out by the grass?
Why is the loon around the same area when I see it?
