Today when I went down to the park for the second time, it was sunny and windy but not too cold.
When I was going out on the break water, there was a raven on the boardwalk, it flew off as I walked past. When I was at the end of the break water, it was colder and windier and I saw a few sea gulls and shorebirds on Sage rock.
Just after I got off the break water, I saw some Harlequins in the water by where they catch the fish.
When I was out at the battle site bench, it was really windy and I was glad I had decided to ware my coat.
When I was on the trail by the river, I saw some ducks and mergansers on the other side of the river.
I decided to go out on the foot bridge and when I looked down the river, I saw a few eagles, a kingfisher and a merganser. When I looked up the river, I saw two dippers and two ducks. I also saw a white cat right by the river walking up the bank. I went to get a better look, but by the time I got there it was gone.
Why was it windier out at the battle site bench?
Why was the cat by the river?
Where did the cat come from?
