Today when I went down to the park, it was cloudy with some wind.
When I was out on the breakwater, I saw a raven on the rocks with something that was yellowish and looked about maybe apple sized, but was eaten on in its beak. The raven flew off before I could get a better look at what it had in its beak.
When I was on the sidewalk by sage beach, I saw two ravens chasing each other.
When I was in the park, I saw and heard two chickadees.
When I was out at the battle site bench, it was sort of low tide and I saw some sea gulls out by the water.
When I was on the side trail near the trail by the river, I saw some sea gulls and two wigeons out in the water.
When I was on the trail by the river, I saw some mergansers and ducks in the water on the other side of the river. I also saw some shore birds in the grass on the other side of the river.
When I was near the end of the trail by the river, I saw a few small green caterpillars on thee salmonberry leaves.
When I was on my way back home across the road from the harbor, I saw that someone had parked their car on someone’s lawn.
Why had they parked the car in the lawn?
What was in the raven’s beak?
What were the shore birds?
