raven

I saw a Raven. drawing 1, there were 2 raven sitting on a branch it was fun to see them .drawing 2 there were 2 raven hopping up the wood cip pile it was fun to watch them hop up the wood cip pile .there is a cupole 100 raven are in Sitka .I see alout of raven in Sitka .they are one of the musk   common bird Sitka. the secont must common bird is the seagull and the therd must common bird is the northwest crow all of these you can find at Mc in sitka  and all of these are here all yearlong .how to tell a raven for a crow the crow is smaller then the raven a nuth way to tell the raven from the crow is sound  the sound of the crow is a co co sound the ravens sound is a allc allc they are boath black and they boath like to get in to garbij they boath noa how to get in to garbij they allsowe now how to make a mes on the rocks ,the sidewalk and the road .raven are a masing birds .they like to eat fat from cows they like to eat meat that they can find in  the grbij they will eat fish they are very nice birds even now pepole think raven and crow are yucky birds they are very teagen birds . they can flie throught the woods like it no problem they like to  falow pepole with some sort of meat like a corndog or a toonfish samwich .they do like a hip hop oor like a gallup on the sidewalk raven have faloaw my and Rowan when we were going to nanas   they fallowed wus all the way to nanas  house and  I would case them all away then they would jut ceap coming back then I would have to do it all over agian I had to do that all the way to NaNas then they cut it out it was fun doing that well the same thing habed wen we were going to the lake.

    This is Kathy the sketching teacher from a couple of weeks ago.

    I enjoyed these raven drawings! I especially like the shapes of the beaks, and how you made the ravens light against a dark background. You also have some great written observations of raven behavior. That hiphop/gallop gait is neat to watch… And like you, I wonder sometimes how often ravens do things just for the fun of it. While I was driving with Kitty to the airport, we saw a raven rolling down a snowy slope. It climbed back up and rolled down again, like a kid. I’ve seen them doing that in Juneau on roofs. If not for fun, why do that?
