Today when I went down to the park for the first time, it was there were clouds and it wasn’t too sunny, but I still didn’t need to wear my coat.
When I was out on the breakwater, I saw an eagle on a pole in the water and two ducks.
I also saw a kingfisher on a pole out farther in the water.
When I was near the beginning of the park trail, I saw and heard two ravens in a tree and as they flew off.
When I was in the park, I heard a squirrel and some winter wrens somewhere in the forest.
When I was at the battle site bench, it was low tide and I saw some sea gulls.
Not too long after I left the battle site bench, I saw what I think was a gull wing and some feathers a little ways off the trail.
When I was near the trail by the river, I saw a few ducks and some sea gulls.
When I was on the trail by the river, there wasn’t anything on the river, but I heard some winter wrens and robins.
When I was on my way back home, I saw an eagle fly and land on the tree across the road.
Why was the eagle on the pole?
Why was the wing there?
Why were there no birds on the river?
