Today when I went down to the park for the second time today, it was sunny but there was a cold wind.
Dad walked with me down to sage beach.
When we were at the breakwater, I saw a great blue heron and a merganser and some swans flying over by the park.
When were were walking back from the end of the breakwater, I saw one duck in the water.
When I was in the park, I heard some chickadees in the trees. I also saw some ducks and sea gulls out in the water and on the beach.
When I was at the battle site bench, it was low tide and I saw some sea gulls and crows out on the beach by the water.
When I was on the trail by the trail by the river, I saw some swans, ducks, a great blue heron, crows and sea gulls out on the beach and at the end of the river.
When I was on the trail by the river, there were no ducks.
When I was on my way back home, I saw an eagle flying.
Why was the wind cold?
Why were all the ducks at the end of the river?
Why was there only one merganser?
