This morning after I did a couple of things at home I went down to the park.
On my way down to the park I saw a bird sitting up in a tree. The bird did not look quite right, so I decided to take a look at it. It was a sharp shinned hawk, I took out my camera, and took some pictures of it. There was also a bad eagle in the same clump of trees just a little ways away. I watched the sharp shinned hawk for a little while, but I eventually moved on, and left the sharp shinned hawk to sit in the tree, and look for it lunch.
I walked down to the breakwater, and then down the sea walk, and to the beach. I walked on some of the big rocks just above the high tide zone. I looked around at the lichens, and stuff that were on the rocks, and logs that were up there. I took some pictures of some of the things that were there then I moved on.
I walked down the beach in front of the visitor center, and started working my way to the end of the park. On my way to the end of the park I saw a flock of gulls sitting on the beach. I walked over towards them, then I stopped, and looked through them to see if there were any gulls that looked unusual. All of them were normal for around here this time of year except one, and that one was a glaucous gull. I tried to get some good photos of it before they flew away, but I was unable. I finished my walk to the end of the park, and walked up into the woods.
I walked up the river to see if there were any ducks in the river. I did not see any, so I walked on up the trail. I looked around, but did not see any ducks, so I walked on home.bald eagle sharp shinned hawk sharp shinned hawk
