I saw a semipalmted plover at totem park Tuesday August 13 2010.

that was a good semipalmated plover drawing I liked a lot .
That was a good drawing. I can tell that the plover is related to the killdeer in Idaho, like the one that you found the nest in the road that you found while we were fishing last summer.
I saw some wood peckers when I was elk hunting. Saw two different kinds. One was fairly large. Its body was mostly black but it had a lot of red on its head. The other one was smaller and had quite a bit of white and black mixed with a spot of red on the head.
Where did you see the plover?
WHAT type of woodpeckers did you think you saw i think you saw a pileated woodpecker. and for the smaller woodpecker i think you saw a red naped sapsucker.
