Today I went down to saw lake to see if the male wood duck was still there. When I was at the peninsula I saw a person that I knew that said that they had not seen the wood duck yet. I told them that I was going to go see if I could find the wood duck and so I showed them where I have been seeing it and we found the bird in a yard and the wood duck end up being a lifer for the person. After we talked for a bit I went to the other side of the lake to see it the swan that I saw on the other side of the lake was a trumpeter swan or a tundra swan it end up being a trumpeter swan but while I was over there I saw two green wing teal which I have I do not usually see till April or may. It is exciting to see some of these birds.
