Last November I was walking down by crescent harbor on a nice sunny day.
There were some common murres in nice and close. While I was looking for them I saw this little diving bird in the harbor so I went chasing after it to see what it was. When I caught up with it I saw in was a marbled murrelet in winter plumage. I had never gotten photos of any winter plumage I had seen and gotten go photos of them in summer plumage but not winter and I had only seen a few in winter plumage to begin with. So it was nice to get some photos of it.
