Today I was coming down stairs after showing Rowan a rock and when I looked out a window that looked in to the south yard I saw a sharp shinned hawk on a pigeon fighting with it on the ground. I toled dad and Rowan that there was a sharp shinned hawk with a pigeon in our yard. Rowan came down stairs and dad came out of his room And we watch the hawk for a few minutes then dad and I went up stairs to try to get photos of the hawk and the pigeon. After a while dad went back in side and I sat out on the deck for a while longer. A short time later I caught a site of what looked like another sharp shinned hawk as it went and landed on the brush pile and the hawk with the pigeon tried to fly but the pigeon was to heave to fly with. I came on side and toled dad that there was another sharp shinned hawk out there and a short time later the other hawk flew to the berm mean while the hawk with the pigeon puffed up real big. Eventually the other hawk decided it did not want to fight with the other hawk with the pigeon so it flew away. A short time after the other sharp shinned hawk flew away I came in side and edited the hawk photos I had after I was done with that I went out on to the upper deck and looked and just after I got up there two ravens flew out of the spruce tree. I looked closely and then I made out the hawk in the bushes I think that the raven scared the hawk in to the bushes. It was exciting to see the hawk.
