Today when I was on my way back from the park in the poring rain I saw a seal close to shore. I went out on the rocks by the fish run in front of the net to see if it would come up close to shore again. When it came back up it was in the fish run behind the net when it dove down I went to the rocks behind the net and waited for it to come back up. When it came back up again it was by the small water fall then it when up by the shore after some fish and I could see some spots on its back. After it dove down again it went out of the fish run. When it came back up it had a fish and it dove down a couple of times with it. One time after it ate the fish it rolled over on its back and then it dove back down. It came back up a couple of times heading tordes sage rock but after that I didn’t see it again.

Does the Science Center try to keep seals out of the fish run? Seems like they would not like seals eating the fish. Glad you got to watch it for awhile.
Rowan, that’s sounds exciting! of course, you know how much I love seals. 🙂 Did you take any pictures?
love, momma
