For the last 4 or so days we have been going around Yellowstone National Park and Grand Teton National Park to look at the animals. We first went to Yellowstone and spent about three days there and a half of a day in Teton. In Yellowstone we went to see Old Faithful, paint pots,Lewis’s falls ,the Black Dragon Calderon, and Yellowstone falls. Shortly after we first got in to Yellowstone, we saw one bull bison laying down on the side of the road. We took a few photos then moved on. By the end of the trip, Rowan was tired of seeing bison, because just in one evening driving around Yellowstone we saw about three to four hundred bison in one valley. The valley was called Lamar valley. It is one of the two valleys in Yellowstone that have a lot of animals in them. We went through Lamar valley the first evening and saw one black bear and about three to four hundred bison. Some of the bison were right on or right beside the road. The next morning we went back through the same valley. This time the light was better for taking photos of the bison. On the way through the next morning, I saw two bears and maybe two or three hundred bison. I got better photos of the bison the next morning. After we got through the valley, we went and saw some of the ecological things that Yellowstone is famous for. After going around Yellowstone some more, we went to Grand Teton National Park on the last day. The only animal I saw there was a bull elk, so we went back to Yellowstone and saw more bison, another bear, a coyote, and some swans. On the way to the west entrance, there was a bison on the side of the road, and because of that bison there was about seven miles of backed up cars in the incoming lane. Thankfully we were in the outgoing lane, and that was not backed up at all. After we got out of Yellowstone and had eaten lunch, I was napping when the storm hit, but I woke up shortly after it hit hard. In some parts of the storm you could barely see the edge of the road that was about only ten feet away. We got some big hail and a couple of cloud bursts, but we made it through. It turned out later that there was a tornado warning while we were there because of that storm, but it was a fun trip. white egg yoke in Yellowstone Old Faithful in Yellowstone
