Yesterday I went over to a friends house ho has had a brood hen for about four weeks now, and is sitting and seven eggs for us and about a week a go the only egg that survived the first batch of eggs was starting to hatch so we went over to look and the next day chick had died in the egg,so my friend put the chick in the freezer and showed it to me on Tuesday, but when we went over there yesterday she said she had herd cheeping all day the day before, and earlier in the day on her camera that is in the coop that is facing tor eds the container that the broody hen is in she saw the chick, and later when we got over there we went out there and she garbed the chick and we got some photos of it and petted the she put the chick back under the hen.I thing the chick is a cross between a speckled Sussex and a Broma the broma has fussy feet and this chick has that but you cant see it in this photo and the only rooster that my friend has is a speckled Sussex.
