Yesterday afternoon when I was heading out side to go beary the pigeon (that was killed by the hawk ) Paul Norwood called and asked dad if I wanted to come out on the boat with him and Sandy I said yes, so I went down there we did a little bit of fishing but the only thing we caught was one quillback rock fish and two china rock fish. Wile we were out there though I was fishing on one side of the boat and Sandy was fishing on the other side Paul was up in the bou of the boat. Wile we were ankerd I herd Paul say porpoises I turned around and I saw a pod of at least 5-10 harbor porpoises swimming probuly about fifed feet away from the boat we could hear the blow the a air out of there blow holes some of the time after they got a bit further away I saw a bird that looked like a murre but I diced to look at it any way I got a coup of photos of it and looked at them I realsed it looked like a horned puffin, so I went to the bou and ask Paul if it was he said It looked like it so he poled the anker sense we weren’t catching any fish we look for the puffin a little bit more sense it had doev. We found it agin got some photos of it then went to the pinicls and wile we were of there a posible least auklet flew by after that we headed back in and did not see any thing unsal.
