Today when I was going up the stairs I looked out the window. I saw about eight Eurasian collared doves in our yard. There were tree on the fence, and five on the ground at the base of the feeder. (I had to put chicken wire around part of the feeder to keep the doves out) It was funny to watch the doves try to get in to it the feeder. I sat on the stairs, and watched out the window to keep an eye on the trap by the time I was going to go out to set off the trap there was ten to eleven collared in our yard. I snuck out on the the porch an tie the string for the porch, and polled on the sting the door dropped down but didn’t close all the way, so I had to run out there in my socks, and close the trap all the way. By the time I got out there one of the doves had gotten out of the trap through the hole in the door I but I still had three in there, so I got rowan, and we went out, and helled the doves then let them go.
