Yesterday after I was taking photos of banded juncos, I went back later and looked at them. While I was doing that I realized that the aluminum band numbers I could see some of the band number clearly, so I went outside again. After a lot of photos I got all of the numbers that were on the band and put them in order. It was the first one that I was able to do that to. It was very exciting to be able to do that. It was caught in November 17 of 2012. the band was left leg red only, right leg aluminum only. It is a female bird. the Band number was 191175351.

Very nice that you were able to take pictures of the band numbers – is there a place where you report those? How do the people who organize the banding keep track of the sitings?
