When grandpa and I were heading to strike, saw a small cottontail bunny by the rest room. It was the first one I have seen this year. (Killdeer) On the way back from strike I saw the first baby kill deer I have ever seen. They were cute and fuzzy. (Western grebe) The first display I have ever seen was this year and this was the first display I have ever gotten on camera.(Coyote) I saw my first Coyote I have ever seen it was exciting to see them. (Dragonfly) I saw my first red dragonfly at grandpa garden. I also caught it with my bare hands.

It’s great that you are seeing so many neat animals and getting nice pictures of them!
Looks like it was a fun trip. Did you catch any ticks?
How many grebes were there on the lake? Have you ever seen a Clark’s Grebe?
How fast was the Killdeer chick?
Were you able to figure out what kind of dragonfly it was?
uncle janathan
thanks.
dad
on I did not catch any ticks. yes I have herd of a clark’s grebe and I saw one.no I did not find out what tip of dragonfly that was. the baby kill deer ran pretty fast.
lol! I like your dad’s question about the ticks! glad you haven’t found any. Gotta ask your sister if she has. she seems to be the tick magnet. 🙂
*I love Killdeer!! I’m so glad you got some pictures.
*Are the grebes the ones in the water? I love the first picture. it’s vey flowing & they look like they’re moving in sync.
*I’ve heard dragonflies sting. Is that true? sounded like you held this red one and it didn’t. it’s beautiful. love, mommy
