I spent nearly four hours at Swan Lake today, first with Rowan, then Connor and Melissa showed up as well.
I hiked up to the first bridge on Indian River Trail today. I wanted to check out the confluence of the West and Falls forks of Indian River. As I suspected, the Falls Fork was largely frozen, while the West Fork was running ice free.
I took a hike up Indian River Valley to visit the big tree waterfalls and see what they looked like frozen.
Spent a little time outside looking for birds with Connor. I was able to get a few pictures of Bohemian Waxwings.
