Snow Hikes

Alaska Day Mountain Snow
Overcast skies in the morning gave way to breaking clouds and sunshine on the parade (sorry, no photos of that – I forgot to put my camera back in my bag after downloading the morning’s photos).
Disappearing Snow and Red Mushrooms
This morning I noticed the last of snow on the Pyramids was almost gone. This afternoon I photographed some bright red mushrooms (Hygrocybe miniata) while on an outing up Indian River with my brother, kids, and PN to check on the trail cam.
