Weather Observations
With overcast skies, the fading light of day took on a blue-gray cast that was accentuated by the freshly fallen snow. I was intrigued by a wispy layer of clouds hanging over the treetops on a hill at the foot of the Pyramids
With heavy rain falling overnight and throughout today, I thought it would be interesting to check out different places around town. In addition to all the photos, I also shot a brief video of Indian River from just below the Sawmill Creek Road bridge.
We got up to fairly heavy snow showers, but Connor, Rowan, and I went on a couple of hikes anyway. All the pictures are from those trips. Read more about the outings at my trails blog.
I’m not sure what was causing it, but the air seemed quite hazy today. I was tempted to think smoke, but usually the sun gets a deeper red when that is the case, so perhaps it was just a very diffuse fog or something?
