There was a little bit of frost in places this morning. I think it’s the first frost of the season.
Yesterday I noticed that the weather seemed to be moving in from the Northwest. Normally I notice weather moving in from the West to Southwest. It was a little strange to see clear skies out over Sitka Sound to the South/Southeast as a rain squall moved in from the direction of Halibut Point Road.
I saw some fresh snow on the unamed peak behind the Sisters today. I wouldn’t be surprised if it had been there for a couple of days at least.
I returned yesterday from a 10 day trip. Most of the time I was gone, the weather was sunny and warm during the day with temperatures just below freezing at night.
