I got up early this morning and took a walk to the post office. It was fun to experiment with some night photography in the intermittent snow showers. Later today I noticed the red alders at the park have a lot of catkins this year.
After 3 cold springs in a row, it’s been kind of refreshing to have this year’s warmth in late winter, and an early start to Spring. Temperatures overnight were below freezing, but not by a lot, so I thought it was interesting to find there was still quite a bit of ice on Crescent Bay even into the afternoon.
While walking home from a city league basketball game, we were treated a colorful sky shortly after the 3:30pm sunset.
