Salmonberries and blueberries are both ripe now. The salmonberries more so than the blueberries at this point. I am not sure how long it will be before the height of the season for each.

I noticed that some salmonberries are starting to turn red. It will probably be at least a few days before they are completely ripe.
I hiked from Harbor Mountain over to Gavan Hill and down Gavan Hill Trail to town last Monday and noticed many flowers in bloom along the way.
