On a Lifelong Journey to Learn my Place
This morning I enjoyed a sunny walk over to and back from the university for class. This afternoon I did a little birding along the road before heading up Harbor Mountain hiking back to the south slope meadow.
My brother recently returned from a two week trip doing surveys in the South Baranof Wilderness, primarily in Gut Bay and Patterson Bay. I was a little surprised to find a Mallard with ducklings at Swan Lake.
I was a little surprised to see three Golden-crowned Sparrows fly into the blueberry bush in our yard and start eating the flowers.
