Overcast with rain showers. Temperatures in the 40s.
While out to run an errand this afternoon, I made brief stops at Swan Lake and the channel.
Two coots were on the grass at the peninsula. It’s not too often I see them out of the water.
Long-tailed Duck numbers are picking up in the channel, but there are still plenty of gulls around. I didn’t spot any unusual ones today, however.
Connor got another deer today. This time he went to Sukoi Inlet. He didn’t see as many birds this time as he did when he was up that way earlier in the week.
