Getting out Between Showers

Mostly cloudy with scattered showers and occasional sun breaks between. Light winds and temperatures in the lower 50s.

After recording a conversation for an upcoming radio show this morning, I went for a drive.

Lots of gulls were in the channel, though I didn’t spot any that looked unusual in my brief perusal.

A quick glimpse at a warbler flying across Eagle Way prompted me to stop and follow it up. I ultimately tracked it down on Price Street and saw it was an Orange-crowned Warbler.

When I saw the sun out this afternoon, I decided to go for a walk. I made a loop of it, stopping by Swan Lake and Castle Hill.

There continue to be more waterfowl at Swan Lake, though I didn’t spot the Wood Ducks or coot today.

Castle Hill was quiet.

I managed to make it home just as the rain from the next shower was starting to pick up.

This evening I made some progress organizing recent collections, though I still have a lot of work to go.
