Waterfront on a Gray Day

If there was heavy rain overnight as forecast, it didn’t melt too much. Occasional snow showers during the day, with a bit of a breeze.

I saw a junco with white cheek patches (and I think it has some other white) in the yard. I had first noticed it yesterday (but I haven’t been consistently looking before that).

I checked the channel, and saw the usual suspects. However none of the less typical species.

I got a look (in poor light) at the Eurasian Wigeon Connor found yesterday. He mentioned seeing a good number of Gadwall at the park today, but hadn’t seen the wigeon. I saw it over by Eagle Way with a couple of other wigeons.
