Fall Migration (Turned up to 11)

An early September day that started with an unexpectedly early morning, many birds calling in the yard, my first Gray Catbird at first light, around the airport I saw the most impressive influx of sparrows I have observed, the largest flock of Vaux’s Swifts yet reported for Sitka, Peregrine Falcon flyovers, and migrating Osprey.
