The November 12th show featured a conversation with Gwen Baluss, bird bander with the USFS and current president of the Juneau Audubon Society. She was in Sitka for another year of banding in the Sitka Bird Banding Project, now in its 6th season. We spoke about the project, as well as some of her other work around Southeast Alaska and the mysteries about birds in the region that make us curious.
