The 15 September show featured a conversation with Gary Greene, who has been spending time in Sitka as part of the Sitka Sound Science Center Scientist in Residency Fellowship. We talked a fair bit about how the greywacke that makes up so much of the rock around Sitka formed. We also discussed ways that non-specialists can help contribute to the general knowledge with a little bit of extra attention to interesting rocks found while out and about.
