Indian River Valley Snowshoeing

The kids and I went for a hike up Indian River Valley so I could switch out the ibuttons. They brought snowshoes, while I slogged through waist deep snow in the muskegs.

Rowan and Connor make their way into the snow-covered muskeg. Snow depth was up to their chests, but the snowshoes worked as they were supposed to.

Connor and Rowan have to lean back to get their snowshoes high enough to be seen over the deep snow.
