At first it was not clear that the leaves and the sporophytes belong together, but it turns out that Goblin Gold has dimorphic leaves, with one type sterile and the other ones small, but bearing sporophytes.
The sporophytes were incredibly abundant on the Goblin Gold (Schistostega pennata).
