The Blue-winged Teal I was able to photograph yesterday was the 7th additional Sitka area bird species I have managed to photograph this year. Last November I wrote an entry listing my first 130 species. I saw and photographed three more species last year, and those, plus the seven this year brings me up to 140 bird species with identifiable (but not necessarily good) photographs I’ve managed to get.
