[Show slideshow] This Black Scoter (Melanitta nigra) was observed near Galankin Island. Horned Puffin (Fraterculus corniculata) observed in the channel. Horned Puffin (Fraterculus corniculata) observed in the channel. These male Mallards (Anas platyrhynchos) appeared to be fighting on Swan Lake. Mountains over Sitka Snowy Peaks Snowy Peaks White-winged Scoters (Melanitta fusca) were observed near the north end of the Channel.
