There was an eagle release scheduled for this morning, so I asked Connor and Rowan if they wanted to go to the Raptor Center to see it happen. I’m not sure if the releases are always so well attended, but with the pleasant sunny conditions and the first release of the year, it was a pretty good crowd. I hung back a bit and didn’t take pictures of the actual release, but after it was done we walked the Raptor Center loop trail. The pictures are from the signs at either end of the trail. The birds that stay in outdoor enclosures are along one end of the loop, and I suspect that’s the reason for the firm restriction against dogs.
